In Brazil, the Cerrado Mineiro is widely recognised for its consistency, traceability, and modern approach to coffee production. Located on a high plateau in Minas Gerais, the region benefits from well-defined seasons; hot, wet summers and dry winters; creating ideal conditions for predictable flowering, ripening, and harvesting. As one of the first Brazilian coffee regions to receive Denomination of Origin status, Cerrado has become synonymous with reliability and clarity of origin.
Brazil Cerrado coffees are known for their clean, balanced, and approachable profile, typically offering a medium to full body, low acidity, and notes of chocolate, toasted nuts, and caramel. Their structure and consistency make them an excellent foundation for blends, providing sweetness and depth while complementing brighter, more aromatic coffees.
